Cultural Opportunities

Cultural diversity thrives at Kent State University with more than 100 countries represented in our student body each year. Taking part in cultural events helps our community grow beyond the campus borders.

The Center of Student Involvement works with diverse student groups and cultures promoting cultural heritage.

  • Student Multicultural Center
Academic success is the primary goal of the Student Multicultural Center and its advocacy of under-represented students. Through promotion of mutual respect, educational and cultural programming, the center achieves this goal and works as a constant resource to the Kent State community.
  • The Office of Global Education
The Office of Global Education monitors Kent’s global initiatives, exchange programs and services for international students and scholars.  Kent State students benefit from these efforts by gaining a global perspective and adding to the skills required of effective global citizens.
