- Kent State Student Philanthropy Campaign Kicks Off Kent State’s Campaign for Change, the university’s student philanthropy initiative, kicked off its fall campaign on Aug. 27 with a Pre-Show Party on the Plaza. Over 100 student donors participated in the event, raising several hundred dollars for the Campaign’s spring 2012 scholarship.
